Installed the new T-top on my new boat and the T-top is just as great a product as the first one! This boat is all curves but installing your T-top worked like a charm.
I own a year 2000, 21 foot long center console sport fish with a 225 hp outboard. During the summer, it was uncomfortably hot to fish all day in the direct sun. But because the top speed of my boat is 55 mph, a bimini top was out of the question, as it would break off if I forgot it in the up position at high speed. The factory price of a permanent T-Top was $3,600 when the boat was new, and to fit it on a used boat, the factory wanted $7,000 to $10,000!
The cost difference is due to the fact that the boat owner is providing the installing labor, and instead of custom dimensioning before welding the support flanges, the flanges are already installed from Dart Marine and are adjustable on all sides. The aluminum tubing Dart Marine uses is the same diameter and wall thickness as the factory unit. In fact, the Dart Marine system of adjustable flanges can mate to about any center console dimensions. The Dart welds on my unit look to be very high quality and professionally done. I would recommend the purchase of a Dart Marine T-Top to any Fisherman. Mike P.

The Binimi top is in the way, a pain to put up and take down, and forget running at high speed with it up. This was the only feature on my boat I was unhappy with. So after nine years of fighting with the Binimi top I decided to start looking at T-Tops again. Once again the cost was way too high. So as a last ditch effort I went on the internet. There I found the Dart Marine web site. I could not believe my eyes. A T-Top for under $2000.00! So I gave them a call. Had a million of technical questions I needed answered. The young lady I spoke to was great! She had all of the answers I was looking for. After our conversation I placed an order for the Top. Of course I got all of the options. Spreader lights, vertical & horizontal hand rails plus extension pins for my center console. The cost including freight was still under $2000.00. The top arrived on the date they say it would. I had a few questions when it came to installing it on my boat. They had the answers and the installation was a snap. I had the top up on my boat the same day they it arrived. You can not beat the quality of the material used. It is just as good if not better than the more expensive tops. The reason I feel that the top is less expensive is because you do the labor of installing it. Plus you get rid of the middle man. You are dealing directly with the manufacturer. The people at Dart Marine deserve a triple A plus for service excellence. They could not have been more helpful or friendly. They are there for you from the time you place the order until you finish the installation. It is one of the best investments I have made since purchasing the boat. Once again I can not thank Dart Marine enough. I would recommend them to anybody interested in purchasing a T-Top. If anybody needs a reference about your company.
